Memories in Melody

Mia Frohlich (‘26)

For my senior project, I created a cover album titled Memories in Melody in dedication to my grandfather. The album consists of five of his favorite songs, each representing a special moment in our relationship. I produced and recorded the tracks using audio recording and design platforms, and released the finished album on YouTube. In addition, I designed an album cover that reflects our bond from my childhood, and the role music has always played in our connection. I chose this project because I wanted to explore a different realm of the arts that I am unfamiliar with: one that focuses on the behind-the-scenes process rather than what happens on stage. This project gave me the chance to express myself musically in a new way, pushing me past my comfort zone. Creating this album allowed me to share the love I have for my grandfather, while combining my artistic passion with a new technical skill.

Fight the Fear

Myra Tracy (‘26)

I chose to write this song to challenge myself musically, step outside of my comfort zone, and further develop an art form I hope to pursue in the future at Berklee College of Music next fall and beyond. I also hope to inspire others to express themselves creatively, even when it feels uncomfortable. I hope my song resonates with you.
